We started our business in 1894 in Matsumoto as a maker of Japanese fans
(that is called uchiwa: one of Japanese handicraft and necessary for Japanese summer festivals).
Our city, Matsumoto, is one of the famous Japanese historical places and has Matsumoto castle which is a national treasure in the city center (once
the castle had a lord).
Therefore Matsumoto city has been close to a Japanese heritage
and traditional culture to this day.

Our city, Matsumoto, has a historical castle which has a
beautiful castle tower in the city center. Found in the sixteenth century and
it has changed its appearance and function. It is still
loved and cherished by many people.
